Who Am I?

I’m Brandon Johnson, the founder and coach behind Be Gallant Coaching. I come from southern California (Riverside, to be exact), I’m a first-generation college graduate from UC Santa Barbara and University of Southern California, and I’m a Certified Professional Career Coach. My partnerships include the University of Southern California, the Mission Matters Podcast, and Dr. Nooshin Valizadeh EDI Consulting.

What Do I Do?

Big picture: I help you open doors and identify ways to take advantage of your opportunities! I use design-thinking principles, tried and true career coaching methods, and strategic thinking to help people gain agency in their lives by maximizing their professional and career potential. Whether it’s resume coaching/writing, interview coaching, action plan development, or any number of other things, I help everyday people put their best foot forward.

How Do I Do That?

I administer standard and customized services (i.e. resume building, interview coaching, developing introvert leaders, etc.) to help you get to where you want to go. I take the time to get to know each person I work with so I can better understand their needs, and craft customized packages with them that are designed to maximize their time and energy. Through weekly meetings (or whenever works for your schedule), we will co-create a manageable experience that will put you on the path to success.

Why Do I Do What I Do?

Because everyone has potential, and everyone has ideas of who and where they want to be in life, but not everyone has the resources or knowledge to get there on their own. Life is hard, and our goals are intimidating sometimes, but that doesn’t mean we don’t have the potential to reach high. I want to help people level the playing field and break through barriers, whether they be generational, psychological, knowledge-based, or otherwise. To Be Gallant means to be bold and brave. We can empower each other and help one another get to where we want to be!
