Phase 1: Your Greatest Tool – YOU

Week 1 – Build Your Brand 1 (45 minutes)

Week 2 – Build Your Brand 2 (45 minutes)

Your skills and experience alone likely won’t be enough to help you stand out in the way you need to, especially if you’re pivoting from one field to another. The way you stand out in a competitive market is by maximizing your greatest tool, and that is your brand.

By clearly defining your brand, you’ll gain a greater understanding of how to position yourself as a valuable candidate. In this phase, learn how to tell stories around your skills (including your transferable skills), experience, and intangibles in a way that helps employers truly understand your unique value proposition.

Phase 2: Make Yourself A Good Applicant

Week 3 – Crafting Compelling Resumes (45 minutes)

Week 4: Implementation Week – Office Hours (1 hour)

Week 5: Search Strategy & Job Alignment (45 minutes)

There are jobs that you’re a great candidate for, jobs you could be a great candidate for but aren’t yet, and jobs you’re just not a good candidate for. How do you tell the difference? If you could be a great fit for a role, but aren’t yet, how do you go about becoming a good candidate for it?

Let’s talk about how to put together successful resumes and cover letters, break down what successful job search strategy looks like, and how to position yourself well so you can maximize your time, energy, and chances.

PHASE 3: Network & Negotiate

Week 6 – LinkedIn & Networking (45 minutes)

Week 7 – Successful Negotiation Strategy (45 minutes)

Week 8 – Implementation Week – Office Hours (1 hour)

We’ve reached a point in time where simply applying for jobs is usually not enough anymore. You need a networking approach that will help you break through the barriers and crowds. And once you’ve successfully landed your role, you’ll need to be ready to secure the best compensation package possible.

Let’s get you ready to network and negotiate successfully so you can bring your search to a successful close.

Here’s what a couple others have had to say about The Brave Club

“I had a great experience. I feel more confident having the tools to start applying. I am not as scared. I highly recommend anyone to join (already have a few friends that are interested).”

Alicia S.

“I really needed this, as I haven’t had to put together a resume in over 10 years. This was a great experience—very helpful and much needed. I’m truly appreciative for the opportunity. [Others] should definitely consider it to gain an overview of how to best position themselves in today’s highly competitive job market.”
